Session timer
The timer we put on the big screen in the room. Pick a plan, hit start, and leave it running — it counts the pomodoros, the breaks and the report-back, and chimes between segments.
Two plans. Deep work is what we run in the room: three 50-minute blocks with real breaks between them, about three hours. Classic pomodoro is the original 25-on, 5-off rhythm — six rounds with a long break in the middle — which suits shorter tasks, a scattered day, or anyone who finds fifty minutes too long a first step.
The clock deliberately fades until the last five minutes of each block: knowing exactly how long is left is a distraction, knowing you're nearly out of time is a prompt. It works offline once loaded, and the countdown shows in the browser tab, so you can leave it running in the background.

Say it before you start it. Same board as the full one — it's the same list, so you can set your goals there and run them here.

Working alone?
This timer assumes a room full of people on the same schedule. On your own, anything that boxes the time works — Pomofocus is a good free one with a task list attached, and Chrono Thèsez-vous (in French) runs collective pomodoros with people around the world, which is a surprisingly good substitute for a room.
